The Wales 5k Welcomes Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront as new Title Partner

The team at Activity Wales Events are delighted to announce Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront as the new headline partner of the Wales 5k in an exclusive new deal.

The popular Wales 5k forms part of the world-renowned Long Course Weekend Wales and showcases a strong community feel with children as young as 11 racing this fast and flat course, through the historic town of Tenby and finishing on the famous red carpet.

Tŷ Hotels need no introduction to the area having recently opened their new venture at Milford Waterfront. Part of The Celtic Collection behind Newport’s iconic Celtic Manor Resort and The Parkgate Hotel in Cardiff, the new 100-bedroom hotel at Milford Haven is a welcome addition to the hotel and hospitality scene in Pembrokeshire.

Already awarded a four-star grading from Visit Wales, Tŷ Hotel Milford Waterfront is managed by The Celtic Collection as part of an exciting partnership with the Port of Milford Haven. The majority of the hotel’s 100 bedrooms, as well as every table in Dulse restaurant and bar, enjoy breath-taking views over Milford marina and harbour.

The LCW Wales team have been working tirelessly in recent months to secure some of the biggest names in the industry and this deal is testament to those ambitions.

Following a 2-year break, the 11^th edition of LCW Wales returns with a bang this year with up to 12,000 athletes and 40,000 spectators expected to attend. The event, held over 3 days in July, is now the largest multisport festival in the Northern Hemisphere and televised across 100 countries through our media partners Dream Team, Sky Sports, ESPN and Amazon Prime.

The Wales 5k takes place on Sunday 3^rd July and acts as the curtain raiser for The Veloforte Wales Marathon. A great event for younger athletes, families and likewise elite runners, the huge crowds and electric atmosphere make for an unforgettable experience.
